AMISTAD based on the screenplay by : David Franzoni

The Amistad was a real Spanish slave ship. It sailed from Havana, the capital of Cuba on 28 June 1839. During these years, africans were kidnapped and taken to work a slaves. they were born free, but are kidnapped and sold. th adventure in this story begins when Cinque found a metal spike near him. he unlock the chain around his neck, and free the others. They group up and kill all the sailors except two of them, to sail the ship for them. unfortunately, the victory changed to tragedy when a US ship found them and they were taken to New Jersey. there they faceprison and courts to be free again. in th story, we can see hypocrites polyticians,where they can easily influence the judge to be in their side.. which like what happen nowadays?
