Puasa ganti dan sunat sekaligus?

Apabila menjelangnya hari raya Aidilfitri, banyak lah benda nak ngatur sepanjang bulan Syawal ni.

first of all, di laman web iLuvislam.com berkata...
quote je lah yek
"Assalamualaikum.. (Pendapat ke-2) Wallahu A'lam"

Imam Ibnu Hajar al-Haitami)

tapi tak puas hati lagi.. tengok lagi satu ni haa.. dab mestilah diquotekan jugak :P

--------
Sebuah kitab kecil mazhab Syafi'i Fathul Mu'in, ada menukilkan perselisihan pendapat antara para ulamak Syafi'i:
(Fathul Mu'in Bi-Hamisy I'anah al-Thalibin, Syeikh Zainudin al-Malbari, vol. 2, hal. 271)

WA.

jika diikutkan di Malaysia, ramai yang ikut Imam Syafi'i, maklumlah kite kan mazhab syafi'i.

Daripada Abu Abdullah al-Nu'man ibn Basyer r.a.

((HR. Bukhari dan Muslim)).
Jadi, kita perlulah mengelak daripada perkara shubhat. anyhow, penerangan lanjut mengenai hadith ini, sila rujuk http://ensiklopediamuslim.blogspot.com/search/label/HADITS%2040

How about me, you and, us?

I was a little girl with full of ambitions. I wanted to be a doctor, because I know a woman strength is not as the same as a man. If I want to be in the battle field, together protecting Islam from the satan's plan to conquer the world, I can at least do my best to heal the musyahiddin if they are hurt in the battle ... but, I fell down from my trip to grasp the excellence I am building in front of me..
guys, i fell down on traps done by satans...
I love tv, I love lazziness, I love neglecting my prayers,
I like English novels that gives me nothing in return rather than wasting my time,
I delayed my pure heart and brain when I can memorize Al-Quran the most,
I love internet over learning, I used internet to chat more than beneficial actions,
and the most unforgettable traps I had fallen into is to play somebody's heart, towards the end of my precious time to score for a medical school ...
in short, I wasted my time. I am a looser to myself.

However, I cannot blame all the stupid acts that I've done to the satans, because everything depends on our iman. They suppose to be afraid of us, not us being so weak to fall into their traps. They were promised to be in the hell fire by Allah, so they must have struggle hard to make their punishment worth it. Their job that could make hell fire worth it, is by attracting the Muslims and the Muttaqins to the wrong path by worshiping satans. That is what they are doing all this long to catch our attention, and that is through the extravagant western celebrities that keeps calling us for sex, love and worldly pleasure. aware or not, the media is taking us to the satans path. The songs, sexy video clips, through concerts, cloth and through money. these are all the tiny little things that would bring us to an ending road, saying "Im not that religious ok..so leave me. I'll do what I wanna do" .. and at that time, our qalb is already hard as a rock..

I came to realize this, after I watched The Arrivals. MasyaAllah Allah planned a beautiful way for me to understand about Islam and to differentiate it from the wicked path. Alhamdulillah, He opened my heart to accept the truth and back to realize that Islam is the most important thing in the world. When I first watched The Arrivals, (seems like Im the last person to watch it). I asked my friends..

aku : dah tgk The Arrivals?
him : dah.. nape?
.....................

aku : dah tgk The Arrivals?
her : dah, nape?
....................

aku: dah tgk The Arrivals?
them : dah nape?

hamppehh.. seems like everybody watched the video, and they never realized that they did not change anything to be a better Muslim ... na'uzubillah.. some of them cannot even read Al-Quran fluently.. yet they never do anything to be as Allah pleases? Ya Allah, help them to realize that now is a very crucial time to make a difference. Only You can save my friends before its too late. I wonder for myself and us Muslims, if the Muslims in the central asia are facing a very tragic moment, a religious war that needed help from other Muslim countries, are we brave enough to volunteer protecting Islam and the needy there? Are we able to be there physically and mentally for Islam? Are we ready to say "I love syahid fi sabilillah"..?Are we going to be among the troops who will reveal the country's secret mission just by having our fingers cut if even we are brave enough to go volunteer? How can we be that brave if covering our aurah is like a can of worms? WE are way toooooo far, and way tooo low to be compared to.. .... OOOO My God... there are too many questions in my head.
The West are calling us terrorist... are u ready to prove that we are actually protecting our rights as a holy religion and not the one who is starting the battle? Are we ready to against the fake rituals that have been done by the west to make Islam looks horrible? Despite all the loving couple who gets married here and there, are they full equipped with enough knowledge to keep their children in the right path? Are the children going to be a burden to you and your spouse after busy chasing all the parties, the clubbings and the social networking? The answers are in our hands and hearts. Wallahu'alam.. Im just way toooooo afraid, that what I saw all around me, with the spouse getting married because they have been sooo into in love and turned out to be his husband does not care a thing actually, with the wife scolding their child so badly because they cried, with the spouse who never even pray and teach their sons to pray, with the husband does not even care to go to masjid... they are all Muslims! but is it going to be me and my life in the future? Allah, save me.please...

well.. after a lot of thinking.. here the reality flows....

As time passes by,I have to stop dreaming from becoming a doctor! I took an initiative to join ROTU Airforce(Reserved Officer Training Unit) as a skill to complete my course in IIUM. Yes, of course, one of my plan is to benefit from the allowance per semester. It's like 2 in 1, I mean, 3 in 1, a package I may say. I can complete my skills, having basic foundation as an army, benefit from allowances as well.. but sooner.. and later.. I felt ashamed of myself, wanting to be good but by wearing fit uniforms created by my so-so islamic government. Im ashamed of myself when I see, the arabs wearing hijab, and niqab, perfect inline with the shariah, and a kid beside her.. masyaAllah. They have the authority to make a difference, so is in IIUM. An Islamic institution in Malaysia, but when is this going to change?Do we have to wait until the central government changed to another party or until nobody cares at all? I hope our inside small movement which is going to be proposed(or not?) will be accepted, insyaAllah.

Where can I find an Islamic government like this one? The leader must have a very strong faith to lead their country and the nation to love Islam to the core of their heart. but how about us? how about myself? how about my country? my nation? Oh Allah.. please help our Muslim leaders to uphold Islam in my country. please help us stop the corruption inwards, so that a true Muslim leader can rule the country in peace... please help them take over all the evils in Malaysia, so that I could wear a proper uniform to be an army, to protect my religion from being oppressed..

Isu Azan : HUKUM BACAAN AL-QURAN SECARA KUAT SEBELUM AZAN SUBUH

Isu Azan : HUKUM BACAAN AL-QURAN SECARA KUAT SEBELUM AZAN SUBUH

Wallahul Musta’an.

InsyaAllah.

iftirash ke tawarruk?

During this Ramadhan month, I noticed that there are so many styles people adopt in their prayer... Im on my way to search the right way to sit in between tasyahud and during tahiyyat akhir. so , I searched and found a web that tells me in the simplest way to understand between iftirash and tawarruk. may Allah bless. =)

Tawarruk or Iftirash? How should men sit in Salah?

By Shaykh Abdurrrahman Yusuf Mangera

Q) What is the correct way to sit in prayer for men?

Assalamu alaykum

In the Name of Allah, the Inspirer of Truth

Some hadiths indicate that the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) sat in the tawarruk position, and other hadiths indicate that he sat in the iftirash position. Hence, we could gauge from this that the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) at one time or another during his blessed life sat in both of these positions.

The tawarruk position is when a person sits with the left posterior on the ground; his right foot placed vertically with toes pointing towards the qibla; and the left foot on its side emerging from under the right foot.

Slightly different from this is the iftirash position which is to place the left foot on its side and sitting on it; and keeping the right foot vertical while resting on the bottom of the toes turning them towards the qibla.

The Various Opinions:

According to the Hanafis, the more superior and preferred method is that one use the iftirash position in all sittings [qa‘da] of the prayer. However, though it is not the preferred method, it would be permissible, in light of rigorously authenticated [sahih] hadiths, to sit in the tawarruk position as well.

The Hadiths on Iftirash:

The Hanafis state that the Messenger e, for the greater part of his life, sat in the iftirash position for all sittings [qa‘da] of his prayer, and Imam Tirmidhi has stated it to be the practise of the majority of scholars. As for the few times the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) did do tawarruk—as some narrations state—it was either due to weakness and not being able to sit in iftirash in the latter part of his life, or it was merely to inform the Companions of its permissibility [bayanan li ‘l-jawaz]. The following hadiths mention the Messenger’s (Allah bless him and give him peace) use of iftirash while sitting in the salat.

1. ‘A‘isha y narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) would spread his left foot and keep the right one standing (Sahih Muslim 1:195).

2. ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar states in his narration:

It is a sunna of prayer that you keep your right foot standing and fold the left one (Sahih al-Bukhari 1:114).

The following hadiths will further clarify the posture illustrated in the above two narrations.

3. Ibn ‘Umar (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that

Among the sunnats of prayer, one is that you keep the right foot standing with the toes pointed towards the qibla, and [you] sit on the left foot (Sunan al-Nasa’i 1:173).

4. Wa’il ibn Hujr (Allah be pleased with him) narrates:

I came to Madina to observe the Messenger of Allah’s (Allah bless him and give him peace) prayers. When he sat for tashahhud, he spread his left foot and kept the right one standing (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 1:65).

Imam Tirmidhi reports this to be a rigorously authenticated [sahih] hadith, and then states that this was the practise of the majority of the learned scholars and is the view of Sufyan al-Thawri, Ibn al-Mubarak and the people of Kufa.

All of these hadiths speak of the iftirash position being generally used by the Messenger e, and do not imply that he sat in any other position. This means it was his common practise to use the iftirash position. One objection raised here by the second group is that these hadiths only refer to the sitting posture of the first sitting and not to the second. Hence, a person should only sit in iftirash in the first sitting and use tawarruk in the second sitting. This objection however, is not a valid one, because of Wa’il ibn Hujr’s (Allah be pleased with him) above-mentioned statement:

I came to Madina [especially] to observe the Messenger’s prayer.

This means that his main purpose of visiting the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) was to observe how he prayed. So, for Wa’il ibn Hujr (Allah be pleased with him) to specifically mention iftirash as the only sitting posture used by the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) and not mention any other sitting method, informs us that this Companion only observed the Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) using iftirash in all the sittings of the prayer.

political science

this is my latest group assignment which is not yet completed and certified by my lecturer.. so, if you want to take it as a reference, do think 100 and million times.. haha. Im just about to learn to write!

INTRODUCTION

There are no exception from receiving and giving out interesting quotes attached to certain events or mission in order to portray the significance of the object. These simple but linguistically bombastic quotes are expected to influence and pursue a heterogeneous and wide range of people to reach a group of targeted people into supporting the entrepreneur’s product or towards certain objective. One side of party may influence people by lashing out propaganda, taglines, mottos, slogans, and all sorts of image to attract supporters inside or outside the country itself. However, some are expected to be true, but some are not even true. This is because of the main objective of those quote is to persuade and influence people. MalaysiaToday.net (2010) reported that Malaysia is now practicing the maxim: ‘If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it’. This description is due to a report by Sin Chew entitled ‘The Malaysian Dilemma’ , about the proposal of removing subsidies. [1]

Our main focus in this paper is the study of Propaganda. Propaganda is accepted to be a medium in influencing people’s mind on certain ideology or movement for several of reasons. This process of influencing people is done worldwide throughout the globe prompted by personnel interest. It is believed that the importance of propaganda was emphasized by V. I. Lenin who led the revolution that established Communist control of Russia in the early 1900’s. He also differentiates between two types of persuasion; propaganda and agitation. Lenin viewed propaganda as “the use of historical and scientific arguments to convince the well educated minority”. Agitation is then defined as “The use of half-truths and slogans to arouse the masses, whom he considered incapable of understanding complicated ideas”.[2] By tradition, an agitprop unit - the mixture of agitation and propaganda, is formed under every communist party. Here, we can see that persuasion exist in two ways, and with different approach but on the same objective: to pursue.

Propaganda is made by undergoing planning process based upon “Psychological Operations Field Manual No.33-1” and “Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Media Subcourse PO-0816”.[3] Planning process is a continuous process of requiring imagination of any circumstances affecting the psychological objective, and must be flexible.[4] The steps that are taken into consideration in the planning process is; realistic objectives that can be achieved within policy limitation, analysis of the existing military and political situation, sources of information, delineation of the target and its accessibility, themes to be used to achieve PSYOP objectives, themes to be avoided, media to be employed and also the formal staffing and coordination required to effect the plan. All of the above sequences are important towards deciding propaganda.

In order to increase our understanding on propaganda, there are several aspects to be highlighted and taken into consideration in this paper. The aspects are the techniques of propaganda, the advantages and disadvantages of propaganda, examples of case study and also the most important part is: Propaganda from Islamic perspective. Let us discover the world behind propaganda.

DEFINITION

As defined in The World Book Multimedia Encyclopaedia (2000), “Propaganda is one-sided communication designed to influence people's thinking and actions.”[5] That means, a propagandist design a slogan in the purpose to influence people towards certain issue. The various types of medium used in influencing people in an election might also be propaganda depending on its method of persuasion.

TECHNIQUES

In order to deliver the message of the propaganda itself, propagandist use various techniques to make it possible to gain people’s trust. People place most trust in scholars who have similar ideas with them. [6] Therefore, it is possible to influence people effectively if the propagandist agrees with what people already believe instead of introducing new once. The techniques that are still believed to be used until now are:

1. Simplicity and repetition.

A flexible and a dynamic propaganda are those which can be repeated over and over again, simple, and easy to be understood. This can be seen in what have been introduces by our current Prime Minister. The slogan “1 Malaysia” is comprehensive, yet short that can be repeated again and again until people start using it as “Salam Satu Malaysia” to open a ceremony that has different background of people.

2. The use of symbols.

The use of some symbols may arouse the effect of propaganda. The background sensation and the propaganda’s slogan work together to influence people’s mind and perception. No matter it is an object or colour, it will gives more influence than nothing. For example, in Islam, Green symbolizes the religion. When a poster is done with the background colour of green, for Islamic propaganda, it gives more meaningful influence than using yellow as the attention getter. This is because according to a research that has came out with result that culturally, ‘the symbolism and psychology of a specific colour is subjective and subject to a wide variety of differences’.[7]

3. Distortion and concealment

This happens when a propagandist exaggerate or over highlight some important facts that gives positive impact to the society to conceal other faults that can destroy the people’s trust open them.

4. Lying

Lying is rarely used in spreading propaganda to avoid being dumped by the audience if they get caught. However, some may use this technique in order to control and shape the public beliefs and actions.

5. Censorship

This is the most common type of technique used because usually mass media is controlled by the government. Whoever opposed them will be hunted and silenced. This also happens in Malaysia where the primary television is controlled by the government and nearly all the news are about the development of the government and not the opposition.

6. Name- Calling

This technique is done by relating an emotion and symbol to a person or country. If it is done to influence people to hate the enemy, it usually added with blame or can carries negative connotations towards people.

7. Glittering Generality

This technique is using the same concept with name-calling. The difference is that it is not attached by names, but with idea or policy. For example: “free world”.

8. Transfer

Transfer here is regarding our interest. Even though , we are not supporting an ideology, but if the opponent is spreading it’s propaganda, we eill propose another slogan to hate or avoid the opponent’s slogan.

9. Plain folks

Propagandist tries to be in contact with the targeted audience by using jargon, slangs, accents and idiomatic expression.

10. Selection

Propagandist present selected facts to prove their success and that they are capable to govern and receive the trust from people. This is maybe due to the short- term achievement that is included in one of their plan.

11. Bandwagon

Bandwagon is a term used when only one minor segment is involved, and it is considered all is involved. For example, the quote “the whole worlds know that…” In reality, the whole world do not know that but it is only a big number from the minority.

12. Frustration scapegoat

A scapegoat is used to create hatred among the masses. For example: Adolf Hitler used Jews as a scapegoat to gain support to be empowering for the sake of fighting the Jews.

13. Fear

Propagandist acts as a solution and a guarantor when they raise issues of rights and welfare of the people.

However, among all that are listed above, there are only seven main techniques indentified by the IPA (Institute for Propaganda Analysis) which are Assertion, Bandwagon, Card stacking, Name Calling, Pinpointing the Enemy, Plain Folks, Simplification Stereotyping) and Testimonials. [8]Even though the terms are not the same, but the meaning is identical for one or two terms.

Sunday, October 31, 2010 2:34 PM
Soalan dari: Marzuuk Hassan
from blog hukum hakam

Hukum Hadith

wallahu a'lam.
